Section 1328(f) Screening Results
Anonymized records of 316 cases where the statutory discharge bar under 11 U.S.C. § 1328(f) applied. Each row includes the district, filing year, prior chapter, gap between filings (days), bar type, and outcome (discharged, dismissed, or pending). No case numbers or names.

Prior-Filer Discharge Rates by District
For each district: the total Chapter 13 caseload, the number of identified prior filers (debtors who previously filed bankruptcy), the prior-filing rate, and the discharge rate among those prior filers. Districts with zero prior filers identified are included for completeness.

Aggregate case counts by chapter (7, 11, 12, 13), year (2008–2024), and district. Derived from the Federal Judicial Center Integrated Database. Useful for trend analysis, cross-district comparisons, and normalization of other metrics.

Methodology & License
Data Sources
Data derived from the Federal Judicial Center Integrated Database, CourtListener RECAP archive, and PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records). Case-level records are aggregated to district level; individual identifiers are stripped before export.
